HOW MANY LESSONS WILL IT TAKE TO PASS MY TEST?

Everyone is different, but according to the Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA), on average, it takes around 45 hours of lessons to learn to drive, with an addition of 22 hours of practising.

CAN I BE PICKED UP AND DROPPED OFF AT DIFFERENT PLACES?

Yes you can, speak with your instructor to arrange.

CAN I HAVE EVENING AND WEEKEND LESSONS?
|
Yes, you can have lessons any evening after 6pm and all day Saturday.

HOW DO I BOOK MY THEORY TEST?
|
The theory test consists of a multiple choice section and a hazard perception test. You need to be successful in both parts if you want to pass overall. Your friendly driving instructor will help you with your theory training and ensure you have the knowledge to pass.
The theory test result is valid for two years. |
HOW DO I BOOK MY PRACTICAL DRIVING TEST?

Once you feel ready to take your test, you can book online here.
You will need: A valid Great Britain or Northern Ireland provisional driving licence number Credit or debit card details to pay for the test Your theory test pass date and certificate number Your driving instructor’s personal reference number – to make sure they are available. Once you’ve passed your practical driving test, you can apply for a full driving licence and get out on the road! |
DO YOU OFFER PASS PLUS LESSONS?

Yes. If you have passed your test recently and are looking for a way of developing your skills on the road, then Pass Plus will be the right thing for you. You will be able to enhance your skills for a variety of road situations along with gaining motorway experience, you may also receive a discount from your insurance provider.
Pass Plus is a practical training course that takes at least 6 hours, designed for drivers to improve their skills and drive more safely. It can be taken at any time although it should be most useful to new drivers in the year after passing their test. The learner will need a minimum of 6 hours depending on how well they achieve during the lessons. 6 hours - £300 You will need a Pass Plus registered approved driving instructor (ADI) to teach you. |

DO YOU TEACH IN AN AUTOMATIC OR MANUAL CAR?

We have an automatic car to teach you to drive in, however, we can teach you in your own manual car if preferred.
Automatic cars are often favoured for driving in busy city traffic, with the car selecting which gear you need, leaving you to focus on your speed and the road. Without the clutch pedal and gears, automatic cars are easier to learn to drive, so you could have your licence quicker, however, you will then be restricted to driving an automatic car once you have passed your test. If you learn to drive a manual car, you will be permitted to driving both manual and automatic cars once you have passed your test. This will give you more options when it comes to purchasing a car. |
